The morning of his wife´s funeral, Harry slings on a backpack, walks out his front door and heads off into the desert. He loved his wife. They´d been married thirty-eight years.
He killed her.
With the police wanting to question him, he takes backroads and tracks, and as he goes further into the remote outback he slowly begins to unravel.
Consumed by grief, riddled with guilt, weakened by exhaustion and the brutal unrelenting heat, he shifts into a heightened state of awareness where everything, and everybody are not what they seem.
This man, who as a structural engineer spent his life building bridges, begins to question who in fact he really is.
A deeply emotional story of a man in crisis, The Golden Bridge is a remarkable tale of love, death, and the very nature of reality.
